On top of our vaccine experience, we have years of experience litigating hundreds of appeals. This may be why the government has never appealed our vaccine cases, which saves our clients years of time.
Appellate Experience
Pearsall Law has been fighting for your rights since 1999, not long after Congress enacted the Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP).

Prosecutorial Experience
Mr. Pearsall thinks like a lawyer, and fights like a soldier. As a judge advocate, he has handled high-level cases in Fort Hood, Fort Bragg, and the Pentagon.

Vaccine Litigation Experience
Pearsall Law Firm, PC has been fighting for your rights since 1999, just a few years after Congress enacted the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP).
At Pearsall Law, we’re a brother and sister team, Alana and Gurney Pearsall, both licensed to litigate vaccine injury cases at the US Court of Federal Claims.
Over the years, we’ve helped secure over $1 million in compensation for injured people, and we’re just getting started!
We have helped clients with adverse allergic reactions, orthopedic injuries to the shoulder, and a wide variety of neurological vaccine injuries.
We have handled cases arising from the flu shot, tetanus shot, rotavirus shot, HPV shot, Hepatitis A or B shots, and more.
With this much experience, it’s no wonder even experienced lawyers turn to us for guidance when they themselves are lost and confused.
Most importantly, we’ve learned how the government thinks when it analyzes a case. When the government tries to wiggle out of liability, we’ve seen it all before and we know how to tackle the kinds of excuses and defenses that the government attempts. Our expertise can be the difference between success and failure in the VICP.
So, don’t hesitate to reach out to us, even if only to talk strategy with us.

Appellate Experience
Most vaccine injury lawyers can point to theirs years of practice in the VICP system, but how many can think ahead of that system, by anticipating the issues that can make or break a vaccine case on appeal?
The VICP is ultimately a trial system, and it is all too easy for trial lawyers to “snatch defeat from the jaws of victory” by needlessly giving the government issues to appeal.
This is where Mr. Pearsall brings in a unique background. With his passion for litigation at the highest levels, he has handled hundreds of appeals, including oral arguments in a due process case at the Supreme Court of Texas.
Unsurprisingly, the government has never appealed Mr. Pearsall’s vaccine cases, giving his clients one less thing to worry about. Justice delayed is justice denied, and VICP appeals can delay your hard-earned compensation for years.
Experienced Prosecutor
In every VICP case, you are up against an experienced prosecutor from the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). They are not your friend. They work with a team of doctors to review your medical records and find reasons to deny, delay, and defend against your claim.
This is most likely the first time you’re dealing with a vaccine injury, perhaps even the first time you’re in court. By contrast, HHS’s prosecutor has handled hundreds, or even thousands, of VICP cases - and he or she will use that incredible breadth and depth of expertise against you.
This is where Mr. Pearsall levels the playing field. Not only can he draw on VICP and appellate experience, but he can also draw on years of experience as a prosecutor, both in the military and in the Department of Justice.
As a former prosecutor, Mr. Pearsall knows how to think like a prosecutor, how to fight like a prosecutor, and how to talk to the VICP prosecutor. This is often the difference between success and failure in these cases.
Military Experience
Lastly, Mr. Pearsall brings a military background into his VICP cases. As an officer in the US Army JAG Corps, Captain Pearsall fought legal battles large and small in the United States, South Korea, and the Balkans.
Having served in Camp Humphreys, South Korea; Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo; Fort Hood, Texas; Fort Bragg, North Carolina, and several times in the Pentagon, Captain Pearsall has tackled some of the most important issues in national security law, constitutional law, and military law.
With Mr. Pearsall, you have a litigator who thinks like a lawyer and fights like a soldier. After years of prosecuting war criminals and terrorists, Mr. Pearsall never backs down from a fight and will not hesitate to call the VICP prosecutor’s bluffs.
